Very thorough

Dr Al-Faraje did an excellent job with this book ! I had some pretty comprehensive implant training, and I was getting this book solely to fill in the gaps in the event of a complication pre- or post surgery. This book does that part well. What I didn't expect was the overall review of proper surgical techniques and anatomy that you get as well. It is full of practical advice and guidelines that help in planning surgeries. A good buy for this type of book.

Inclusive and comprehensive review of causes and treatment

The unexpected bonus with this book was the extensive review of the surgeries themselves.The diversity of photos is impressive. Procedures, set-ups, surgeries, restorations and pharmacology is well handled. There is a feeling of completeness and satisfaction after finishing. The layout of one complication per page is easy to reference after reading once. Also constructive was the list of patient informed consents at the end of the book.

As this book makes clear, whilst international affairs lay at the root of this new relationship, personal factors also played an important role in reversing many years of mutual animosity and suspicion. In particular the study explores the influence of the liberal anglophile Count Aleksandr Benckendorff, the Russian ambassador in London between 1903 and 1916.

By 1905, Russia's multiple weaknesses required a prolonged period of external peace by eliminating frictions with the principal rival powers, Britain and Germany, while France and Britain realised that a British rapprochement with Russia would be necessary to counter Germany's power. Benckendorff, as one of the most important figures in the Russian diplomatic service, persuaded Nicholas II and his Foreign Minister, V.N. Lamsdorff, to drop their objections to various long-standing British demands in order to pave the way for a Triple Entente. Although the overarching Russian strategy was conceived as 'balancing' the imperial rivalries of Britain and Germany, numerous factors - not least Benckendorff's energetic pro-British stance - upset the scales and resulted in a stand-off with the Central Powers.

Demonstrating how Benckendorff's fear of losing Britain's friendship made him oppose all Russia's efforts at improving Russo-German relations, this book underlines the pro-Entente policy’s role in setting Russia on the road to war. For when the Sarajevo crisis struck; there was now no hope of appealing to German goodwill to help defuse the situation. Instead Russia's status within the Entente depended on a show of determination and strength, which lead inexorably to a disaster of the Great War.

About the Author
Malcolm Naea Chun has taught Hawaiian language and folklore and has worked as a cultural specialist and educator at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, the Hawai`i State Department of Health, the Queen Lili`uokalani Children's Center, and, most recently, the Curriculum Research & Development Group (CRDG) at the College of Education, University of Hawai`i at Manoa in the Pihana Na Mamo Native Hawaiian Education program. It was very easy to follow the steps

Absolutely delicious book with a lot of scrumptious and healthy recipes included. A wide variety of choices for every meal of the day, that will suit different tastes and lifestyles. In addition, the images gives ideas how to serve the dishes. I tried the Skillet Sirloin recipe. It was very easy to follow the steps, and the outcome was incredible. All the family liked the dish. Excellent book for connoisseurs of cooking.

Great recipes!

I heard so much about the benefits of cooking with cast iron pans and have recently bought one. This book gives me a lot of good ideas on how to make the best use of my cast iron pan. And I love all the recipes I've tried so far like Irish Soda Bread and Chicken Kale Pizza Bake. This book comes with nutritional facts for each recipe which I really appreciate. Although most of the dishes take 30-60 minutes or more to cook, it is definitely worth your time in making those dishes;)

I love the delicious recipes in this book. They were all healthy and easy to follow. As I read this book, I learned the health benefits of cast iron cooking. I was quite surprise of its benefits. I'm excited to share this book to my wife for her to try cooking one of those recipes.

About the Author

Bernard G. Campbell was professor of anthropology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Born in Weybridge, England, he received his PhD from the University of Cambridge in 1957, and has been a lecturer in anthropology at Cambridge and Harvard universities. Among his many contributions to the field of anthropology are Human Evolution: An Introduction to Man’s Adaptations andSexual Selection and the Descent of Man.

Great history

This is the best reading you'll find on Human Evolution. Extremely well written for the interested layperson, the author's writing style is clear, concise and interesting. You'll knot only enjoy a great read but come away with a greater appreciation of evolution in the body.
